We're building the mobility infrastructure for the next generation of space. Safe, scalable, and sustainable propulsion technologies enabling resilient operations across commercial, institutional, and defense missions.
As orbital operations become increasingly dynamic and mission-critical, propulsion can no longer be an afterthought. We are building the next generation of space mobility solutions that enable satellites to maneuver, adapt, and operate efficiently throughout their entire lifecycle. By combining sustainable propellants, rapid manufacturability, and mission-focused design, we help unlock a safer, resilient, more agile, and more accessible future in space.

Our product family -WaterCube, WaterCube+, and OrbitRev - is redefining in-space mobility through sustainable propulsion technologies and mission support services. Designed to streamline spacecraft deployment and operations, our solutions reduce integration barriers, accelerate time-to-orbit, and unlock greater operational flexibility for commercial, institutional, and defense missions alike.

WaterCube is a sustainable water-based propulsion system for CubeSats and SmallSats, designed to deliver reliable in-space mobility with unmatched operational simplicity. Leveraging non-toxic propellant, additive manufacturing, and a modular architecture, WaterCube enables orbit raising, station keeping, collision avoidance, and deorbiting while reducing integration effort, testing complexity, and mission risk.

The world's first dual-mode water-based propulsion system, combining hydrolytic and electrothermal propulsion in a single architecture. Designed to unlock higher performance and mission flexibility, WaterCube+ delivers sustainable in-space mobility for the next generation of commercial, institutional, and defense spacecraft.
OrbitRev is a mission planning platform that maximizes the value of satellite propulsion systems throughout their lifetime. By combining orbital mechanics with high-fidelity propulsion models, it enables accurate maneuver design, simulation, and execution. The platform optimizes fuel consumption, extends mission lifetime, increases payload availability, and improves return on investment.

About Capsule
We’re excited to welcome Alessandro Bartoloni as Scientific Advisor at Capsule Corporation, bringing deep scientific and technical expertise to support our mission with WaterCube, our water-based space propulsion system.
Alessandro is a long-time researcher with extensive experience across space science, electronics, space radiation, and space radiobiology. He has worked for years within the CERN ecosystem and has contributed to major international space projects, including the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS-02), from development activities through to the mission phase that placed the detector in orbit on the International Space Station.
Alongside his research, Alessandro has also taught computer science and electronics engineering at Sapienza University of Rome for many years, bringing strong academic and mentoring experience to the team.
His scientific and engineering perspective will be a key asset as we strengthen WaterCube’s technical foundations and progress toward rigorous testing and in-orbit validation.
Welcome aboard, Alessandro!

Press Release
We are excited to announce that Capsule Corporation has been selected as one of 150 companies joining the NATO DIANA 2026 batch Challenge Programme Cohort!
WaterCube, our cost-effective, scalable and modular propulsion system for cubesats and smallsats, was chosen under the Resilient Space Operations Challenge Area.
Over the next six months, we will work together with DIANA’s network of experts, mentors, and test centres to prepare our system for the maiden flight and shape it to the operational needs of both commercial and military satellite end-users.
We will take part in the programme from DualTech by Takeoff accelerator site in Turin, and we are looking forward to meeting again the amazing team onsite - a great reconnection after we attended the Takeoff Accelerator last year!
Looking forward to the next six months and meeting the rest of the cohort!

Capsule Corporation at SpaceFounders Bootcamp #2 - Toulouse Edition!
Last week was another amazing milestone in our journey with the SpaceFounders programme. Between deep-dive sessions, visits to Thales Alenia Space and Airbus, and the unforgettable Pitch Night, our COO Ivan took the stage to proudly represent Capsule Corporation and share our vision for sustainable in-space mobility! A special thank you to the SpaceFounders team for the inspiring organization!
While in Toulouse, we also took the chance to visit U-Space, thank you so much Fantine Blanquez-Nadal for kindly welcoming us to your company's impressive facilities; it’s always a pleasure connecting with pioneers who share the same passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries of space technology.
We’re coming back from Toulouse even more energized for the next phase, stay tuned, the orbit ahead looks bright!

In the frame of the ESA investor forum in December 2024, we won the sustainability pioneer award for the best pitch on sustainable space technologies

The road to START Summit Milano pitch event is a student-organised competition for early stage startups. We won the event twice, which allowed us to take part with a free booth to the San Gallen START Summit, one of the largest early-stage startup events in Europe.

ESA has awarded a 600k Euro worth TDE contract for the development of a disruptive propulsion system (WaterCube+) for cubesats and smallsats. We are the Prime Contractors of the Consortium, with Politecnico di Milano DAER SPLab and ReActive - Powder Technology srl, as Subcontractors.

The Encubator grant (25k Eur) has been awarded by Camera di Commercio di Milano to further develop the WaterCube solution for sustainable space mobility. It allowed us to attend TEF accelerator and improve our awareness in the sustainability field.

The MUSA grant (25k Eur) has been awarded by Regione Lombardia to further develop the WaterCube solution for sustainable space mobility.
We successfully completed ESA BIC Milano incubator sponsored by ESA and Regione Lombardia. It allowed us to further mature the development of WaterCube from a simple proof of concept to an actual flight model.
